Tuesday 29 May, 12:30 - 13:15

Walk the Solar System, short led walks for 35-45 minutes at lunchtime (moderate pace)
12.30 on Tuesdays from 1st May until 26th June.
Meet at the astronaut sculpture by the National Space Centre, Exploration Drive.
No need to book, just turn up

Explore local green spaces on foot at lunchtime and discover more about the Solar System and space exploration along the way. In collaboration with the National Space Centre, we will give facts about planets in our solar system at different locations along our walks.

The walks are aimed at adults (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) and are an ideal excuse to step out of the house or office for some exercise at lunchtime.

No need to book, just turn up. Please arrive 10 minutes early to register and allow walks to start on time.

Free pedometer (for adults) when you first walk with us.
If you have any queries, please contact Sara Coy 0116 373 7589.

If you enjoy our short guided walks, why not set yourself a longer challenge with the 10K ‘Walk the Solar System – Self Guided Walk’, complete with music and audio clips using the app. Find out more here or on our Facebook page
