Where, when, how much?
The service departs every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday daytimes, from Leicester’s St. Margaret’s Bus Station (labelled 29A from Leicester to Coalville, but you don’t have to change bus). Visit National Forest by Bus for route map, timetable and special offers.
Between Leicester and Coalville, Route 29A heads along the A50 Groby Road, via Groby village, Markfield, Greenhill and Whitwick.
Upon arrival outside Coalville police station, the service number changes to either 9 or 9A, and the same bus continues via Ashby de la Zouch and Swadlincote, ending its journey on New Street in the centre of Burton upon Trent.
