 l be confirmed on booking. \n \nBooking opens Thursday 8 October at 9am
 . \nJoin our group walk to visit city locations associated with Leicester
 's Wartime past including the Boer War and the World Wars. This is a repea
 t of the walk we led last month\, for those that missed it.\nOur groups ar
 e smaller than before so booking is essential -  please see 'how to book'
  below. Please do not turn up at walks if you have not booked - we regret 
 you will be turned away. \n\nWeather\nPlease remember to dress appropriat
 ely for the weather to ensure you are comfortable. \nGroup size\nGroup wa
 lks will be smaller than before to stay within the ‘rule of 6’ which
  allows a maximum of 6 people from different households to meet outdoors i
 n a public space. This includes our volunteers who lead and assist the wal
 k. To allow opportunities to others\, a maximum of 2 people from the same 
 household/ support bubble may attend. We are sorry that we cannot accommod
 ate more people at this time. Please follow instructions for booking place
 s and also observe the guidance below with regards to Covid-19.\nCovid-19 
 and group walks\n\n	Please do not attend a walk if you or someone in your 
 household/support bubble has symptoms of Covid-19. Instead\, please stay h
 ome and self-isolate. See the latest information on the NHS website about 
 self-isolating and obtaining a test.\n	If you develop symptoms within 14 d
 ays of attending a group walk\, please let us know so that we can contact 
 others.\n	During walks\, we kindly ask walkers to maintain the 2m social d
 istancing from each other and members of the public (or at least 1m if you
  are wearing a face mask).\n	Take hygiene precautions when you are outside
  (you may wish to carry your own hand sanitizer) and wash your hands as so
 on as you are back indoors.\n\n\nSelf-guided routes\nIf you have been unab
 le to book onto one of our group walks\, or you prefer to explore with you
 r family or friends\, self-guided routes are available to download from ou
