Exploring South Highfields
Saturday 10 January at 11am
Around 90 minutes, steady pace.
Starting at the gates of Prebend Gardens, Prebend Street (off London Rd – short walk from train station)
A history walk focusing on stories of the fascinating people who lived in this area.

Around 75 minutes, steady pace.
Starting from Jubilee Square
A short history/heritage walk pausing for information along the way.

Winter Tree Tour – Victoria Park
Saturday 24 January at 11.30am (slightly later than usual, to avoid Park Run attendees)
Around 90 minutes, steady pace.
Starting inside the Victoria Park main gates, off London Road. 
Finishing at the David Wilson Library cafe, Uni of Leic campus.
A seasonal tree tour, presented by the Volunteer Tree Wardens.

Winter Warmer Walk – Abbey Park riverside walk via Belgrave Hall
Saturday 31 January at 11.30am (slightly later than usual, to avoid Park Run attendees)
Around 90 minutes, steady pace.
Starting from the pavilion cafe in Abbey Park  
This will be a continuous walk to keep people moving (a ‘winter warmer’!) with the option to stop for refreshments afterwards at the park cafe.

Belgrave Gate – from Haymarket Bus Station
Saturday 21 February at 11am
Up to 75 minutes, steady pace.
Starting at Haymarket Bus Station, Belgrave Gate entrance
A short history/heritage walk pausing for information along the way.

Winter Warmer – Braunstone Park Walk and visit to Braunstone History Group’s stable yard museum
Tuesday 24 February at 11am
Up to 45 minutes for museum visit followed by group walk of up to 60 minutes, steady pace.
Starting from gates of Winstanley House, centre of Braunstone Park. 
The walk will be a continuous walk to keep people moving (a ‘winter warmer’!).
