Leicester Park & Ride
Leicester’s Park and Ride Service
Leicester’s three Park and Ride services are provided by Roberts Travel Group, a local bus company that operates other contracted services in the area.
Park and Ride offers a simple, cost-effective, convenient and reliable way to travel into the city. You can park your car at one of the dedicated sites on the edge of Leicester and then hop on a frequent, direct bus service into the city centre. It’s designed to help reduce congestion, save you the hassle of city centre parking, and provide a greener way to travel.
There are Park and Ride sites at Birstall, Enderby and Meynell’s Gorse. The service operates from 7am to 7apm at Birstall and Meynell’s Gorse, and 7am to 9pm at Enderby, on Monday to Saturday. Buses run every 15 minutes and parking is free for bus users at each site. There is no Sunday service.
Each site has received a Park Mark award and feature a secure car park with on-site CCTV. Facilities include disabled parking spaces, on-site toilets and baby changing facilities (Birstall and Enderby only) and covered bus shelters. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted at any of the Park and Ride sites.
All services are operated using low-floor buses with wheelchair / buggy spaces and audio-visual stop announcements.
