There are a whole host of friendly walking groups to join across Leicester and Leicestershire, suitable for all abilities and age groups, unless otherwise specified. Most groups offer a choice of walks on different days, of different lengths.
Short group walks in Leicester
Short group walks of up to 90 minutes are available in the city, suitable for most abilities.
Live Well Walk More provide health walks aimed at people who currently do little or no exercise, and for those who enjoy a short social walk to keep active. The focus is on improving physical and mental health, reducing social isolation and on general wellbeing.
Walk Leicester Discovery Walks provide an opportunity to explore the city on foot and discover the city’s many great places to walk.

The Ramblers and affiliated groups
By joining The Ramblers, you can walk with any group across the UK, including the eight Leicestershire & Rutland Area groups. There’s no obligation to join immediately – you’re welcome to try out two or three walks for free.
