The aim of the Passenger Transport User Group is to help shape the future of bus services across the county. Members will help consider the projects and schemes included in the BSIP and suggest which should be prioritised for implementation, subject to available funding. Importantly, we welcome representation from both people who currently use buses and those who do not.
By getting involved, you can help us improve local bus services. This is a voluntary role, with members attending two to three meetings each year. Meetings take place remotely via Microsoft Teams in the early evening and last between 1-1.5 hours.
Following each meeting, we share the outcomes with the Leicestershire Enhanced Bus Partnership. This gives bus users a direct voice with the bus operators and the Council as they work together to deliver the aims of the BSIP.
