Meet the Business Engagement team - Hannah May
Hannah has dedicated her career to helping people become more active, confident and connected within their communities.
Having worked across sport, education and community engagement before joining Leicester City Council, she is passionate about making active and sustainable travel accessible to everyone.
Outside work, Hannah is a keen runner and loves walking in the fells, moors and mountains across the UK. She is also particularly interested in behavioural change and enjoys working with businesses to help find motivational ways to encourage their staff to become more active.
Meet the Business Engagement team - Peter Squires
Having spent over 35 years in the private sector – including setting up and running two businesses – Peter has a good understanding of how important staff wellbeing is to a company’s success.
His last company, an emission free courier service, helped local businesses reduce their carbon footprint and enhance their sustainable credentials – something he intends to continue in his new role within the Active Travel team.
Outside work, Peter enjoys walking, cycling and discovering the hidden corners of Leicester, often swapping his desk for one of the city’s eBikes at lunchtime.
