The eBike Loan Scheme gives employees the opportunity to borrow an electric bike for four weeks so they can experience the benefits of cycling, enjoy the savings of car parking and possibly even reduce the time of their daily commute!
For employers, it’s an easy way to encourage active travel and support wellbeing, while contributing towards workplace sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
Promote the Scheme
We’ll provide you with information to share with employees such as leaflets, a link to our video and a clear explanation of how easy it is for them to apply.
If sufficient staff would like to try out an eBike, the Active Travel Team can bring bikes to your work location.
A four-week trial will give your staff enough time to build new travel habits and could lead to a further six months eBike loan completely free.
£300 Voucher
As a thank you for taking part in the travel survey, participants will receive a £300 voucher.
This voucher can be put towards the cost of buying an eBike at one of our partner cycling specialist shops.
Alternatively, it can be used to cover the cost of a further six months’ loan of an eBike. So, in effect, your staff members can borrow an eBike for up to a total of seven months, completely free of charge!
Loan to Own Scheme
If you’ve enjoyed your four-week eBike trial, used your £300 voucher to continue your eBike journey for a further six months and now want to buy an eBike to own, you have a couple of options.
Either you can buy a brand new, or second hand one from some of the specialist eBike centres in Leicester, OR we have a more affordable alternative.
Our Loan to Own scheme allows you to pay just £25 a month over an agreed period, then the eBike is yours.
