As part of ongoing efforts to improve the local transport network, an experimental traffic regulation order is being imposed which will result in the rerouting of the HC2 bus service.
Passengers are advised that Clarence Street is being made into a one way road to provide better efficiency and operation of the network which means the bus service will be rerouted from Monday 13th July. The service will divert via Albert Road and Fernie Road and will continue to operate on a hail and ride basis on the alternative route.
This alternative route will be monitored and a decision on whether to make the changes permanent will be taken following this review process.

Passengers are advised that there is an emergency road closure on Bagworth Lane Thornton, on Friday 25th September, expected to last 1 day.
During the closure, service LC15 will be unable to serve Main Street & Bosworth Lane Thornton. LC15 towards Coalville will divert from Markfield Lane – left onto Main Street Thornton. The diversion will be reversed towards Leicester.
Service LC13 will be unable to serve Main Street Thornton, (from Reservoir Road), Bagworth Lane and Botcheston.
LC13 towards Coalville will divert from Botcheston Road – Markfield Lane -Thornton Lane – Reservoir Road – Merrylees Road – Heath Lane – Main Street Bagworth and normal route. The diversion will be reversed towards Leicester.
