Centrebus LC17 Little Glen Road, Glen Parva

UPDATE: Due to an incident on site, please be advised that Leicester Road is now closed in both directions, between New Bridge Road and Woodbank, with immediate effect for public safety.
Passengers are advised that part of Leicester Road, Glen Parva, between New Bridge Road and Woodbank will be closed on Monday 20th July for 2 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate drainage maintenance works.
During the closure, service LC17 will operate to a diversion route via West View Avenue – Leicester Road – Hillsborough Road – Sturdee Road – Saffron Road – Blaby Road will not be able to serve the following stops: Leicester Road, Little Glen Road , Westminster Drive, Richmond Drive, Wilson Road Ebound, Glenville Avenue.
The nearest available location to board service LC17 are the Leopold Street stops on Blaby Road and the Howard Road stops on West View Avenue.

Centrebus HC2 – Alternative route, Clarence Street
As part of ongoing efforts to improve the local transport network, an experimental traffic regulation order is being imposed which will result in the rerouting of the HC2 bus service.
Passengers are advised that Clarence Street is being made into a one way road to provide better efficiency and operation of the network which means the bus service will be rerouted from Monday 13th July. The service will divert via Albert Road and Fernie Road and will continue to operate on a hail and ride basis on the alternative route.
This alternative route will be monitored and a decision on whether to make the changes permanent will be taken following this review process.

Centrebus LC13, LC15 Main Street, Thornton

Passengers are advised that a road closure is required on Main Street, Thornton between Bagworth Lane and Resorvoir Road to allow for carriageway patching and associated works. Services LC13 and LC15 will continue to serve Thornton via Reservoir Road during this time. Passengers are advised to use the nearest available stops at Thornton Garage.
During this time service LC15 will be unable to serve Forest Road, Grassy Lane, Board Lane, Markfield Lane and Main Street Thornton.
Service LC13 will follow the same diversion towards Leicester but won’t be able to serve Botcheston
Services towards Leicester will divert from Bagworth Main Street – continue onto Heath Road – following the road round and down the hill towards MerryLees – over the bridge turn left into Merrylees Road – continue back into Thornton – after Thornton Garage turn right – continue Reservoir Road – junction left onto Thornton Lane – continue back to Markfield – left into London Road – right Main Street and normal route.
The diversion towards Coalville will be reversed for the LC15
LC13 towards Coalville will follow normal route into Botcheston and continue round onto Merrylees Road following round onto Heathroad taking you back to Bagworth and normal route.

Zouch Bridge has now reopened to all traffic as of Monday 6th July therefore the route will operate as follows – Sutton Bonington Campus, Sutton Bonington Village, Zouch Main Road, Hathern, A6 into Loughborough.
Some journeys will continue during the daytime to operate between Sutton Bonington and Kegworth to maintain connections for local shops and doctors.
