Service Kinchbus 3

Service Disruption

Passengers are advised that from 7pm on Tuesday 11 November until 6am on Sunday 16 November, there will be several full road closures in place in Loughborough for the Loughborough Fair. 

During the closure, for journeys towards Tynedale Road, service KB 3 will divert along Derby Road, Regent Street and Ashby Road resuming the normal route on Frederick Street and will be unable to serve Swan Street and Ashby Square.

On journeys from Tynedale Road into the town centre, service KB 3 will be unable to serve New Street/John Storer House and will be using the contraflow diversion along Bedford Street and Bedford Square. A temporary stop will be in place at a safe location on Woodgate for customers who would usually use the New Street bus stop.

Service LC16

Service Disruption

Passengers are advised that from 7pm on Tuesday 11 November until 6am on Sunday 16 November, there will be several full road closures in place in Loughborough for the Loughborough Fair. 

During the closure, for journeys towards Lougborough, service LC16 will follow the temporary traffic layout via Browns Lane –  Bedford Square – Woodgate.

For journeys towards Shepshed, service LC16 will divert via Regent Street –  Ashby Road – Frederick Street – Browns Lane and will be unable to serve Swan Street or Ashby Square.

Alternative stops nearby: Tesco/ Fennel Street and Ashby Road/ Radmoor Road.

Service LC14

Service Disruption

Passengers are advised that on Thursday 6th November 2025 a road closure is required on Croft Way, Broughton Astley for 1 days for Severn Trent Water to undertake replacement of covers and frames.

During the closure, service LC14 will divert via Broughton Way/Station Road and will be unable to serve Swannington Road & Croft Way.

Alternative stops nearby: The Red Admiral, Byre Crescent and Station Road.

Service LC15

Service Disruption

Passengers are advised that from Thursday the 14th of August 2025 until Thursday 6th November 2025, National Grid will carry out various installations, requiring road closures on Main Street & Ellistown Lane, Stanton under Bardon.

During this closure, service LC15 will follow a diversion route and will be unable to serve Stanton under Bardon. Please refer to Arriva’s website for details.

Residents of Stanton under Bardon will have access to a temporary replacement taxi service to and from Coalville and Markfield, which will operate to the following timetable:

Coalville to Stanton under Bardon – Memorial Square Stand 2

12:30, 16:30

 

 

Stanton under Bardon to Markfield Uplands Drive – bus stop near Primary School

To book your place on this service, please contact the taxi operator, Highfields Taxi, on 0116 262 4004, by 5pm on the day before the journey. Please note that the taxi service will not operate if not booked in advance.
