Park & Ride
For employees who live too far from their workplace for active travel and don’t have easy access to public transport, Park & Ride offers a simple, cost-effective, and convenient alternative way to travel into the city without having to drive.
Leicester’s three Park & Ride sites at Birstall, Enderby and Meynell’s Gorse provide free parking and frequent electric bus services into the centre every 15 minutes, helping to reduce congestion – and pollution – whilst also saving the cost of city centre parking.

Trains
Travelling by train offers a fast, reliable and stress-free alternative to driving for your visitors (and staff).
Leicester Railway Station is just a short walk from the city centre, making it easy to reach businesses and shops on foot, and there is also a large, covered taxi area as well for slightly longer onward journeys.
Leicester is well connected to the national rail network, with regular direct services to destinations including London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Derby.
Staff and visitors who cycle to the station can also make use of the secure Cycle Hub for convenience and peace of mind.
Buses
With more than 190 electric buses, Leicester’s extensive bus network makes travelling into the city from around the county both convenient and affordable, giving staff a practical alternative to driving.
The multi-operator Flexi Ticket allows travel on most bus services with a single ticket, with fares capped at the current day or weekly Flexi fare.
