Woodland Walk and Fungi Foray
Apologies – this walk has been cancelled
UPDATE: Due to the unusually dry start to autumn the woodland conditions are not favorable for fungi and there is very little to be seen at present. Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to find a suitable date to reschedule the walk due to limited presenter availability, the scheduling of our other walks and the relatively short time window for fungi in autumn. We apologise for any disappointment.

Take a woodland walk with a wildlife expert in Highway Spinney and discover a little about fungi. The focus of this walk is the wide variety of fungi in nature and learning about its place in woodland ecosystems (we will not be hunting for edible varieties!). Paths may be muddy, please wear appropriate footwear.
