Victoria Park to Spinney Hill Park (return) Saturday 8 August at 11am Starting from inside the Victoria Park main gates on London Road, close to Granville Road. What3Words location: ///vocal.butter.good 90+ minutes with a small number of information stops, medium pace. This walk takes in two beautiful parks and quiet city streets. We pass buildings of local historic interest along the way and provide some light information about them. The walk finishes back at Victoria Park. CANCELLED – Wildlife Walk: A Walk on the Wild Side – Aylestone Meadows Thursday 13 August at 10.30am We regret that due to extreme weather conditions, the Walk on the Wild Side walk in Aylestone Meadows on Thursday 13 August is cancelled.
The local weather forecast for Leicester predicts high temperatures at the time of our walk, so we have opted to cancel for everyone’s safety. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience.

Tree Tour – Aylestone Rec & St Mary’s Open Space Saturday 15 August at 11am Starting outside Aylestone Leisure Centre. What3Words location: ///parade.cable.device This walk will be up to 2 hours, steady pace. Presented by the volunteer Tree Wardens, this seasonal stroll takes in selected trees from Aylestone Rec & St Mary’s Open Space. Free to attend but booking is required. Discovering Leicester’s Hotels Saturday 22 August at 11am What3Words location: ///mirror.stray.indeed Finishing at the lower end of New Walk close to City Centre Around 90 minutes with information stops, steady pace. 1 – 1.5 miles Join us for a new walk discovering some of Leicester’s hotels, including The Grand Hotel, City Rooms & Royal Hotel (and more!), pausing for information as we go. | Street Art in the City – Murals and More 2026
Sunday 30 August at 12pm Starting from Town Hall Square. What3Words location: ///tags.usual.spine Finishing at the Open Streets event, All Saints/ Great Central Street area. Around 90 minutes with information stops, steady pace. 1.8 miles. Celebrating street art from Bring the Paint festivals of previous years, as well as some new additions in the city centre.
