As part of ongoing efforts to improve the local transport network, an experimental traffic regulation order is being imposed which will result in the rerouting of the HC2 bus service.
Passengers are advised that Clarence Street is being made into a one way road to provide better efficiency and operation of the network which means the bus service will be rerouted from Monday 13th July. The service will divert via Albert Road and Fernie Road and will continue to operate on a hail and ride basis on the alternative route.
This alternative route will be monitored and a decision on whether to make the changes permanent will be taken following this review process.

Passengers are advised that, due to the Ashby Statutes Fair, a road closure is required on Market Street, from Thursday 17th September until Wednesday 23rd September.
During the closure, service LC16 will not be able to serve Market Street. Services towards Swadlincote/Measham will divert via Lower Church Street, South Street and Bath Street. Services towards Coalville will divert via North Street and Wood Street.
Temporary stops can be found on North Street & South Street.

Passengers are advised that a road closure is required on Aston Lane, Sharnford on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 for 2 days to allow Beacon Comms Ltd and their contractors to undertake repairs and other associated works.
During the closure, service LC14 will not be able to serve Aston Lane (Sharnford), Sharnford Road (Aston Flamville), Hinckley Road (Aston Flamville) & Aston Lane (Aston Flamville) and will operate to the diversion routes below:
Towards Hinckley: Leicester Road (Sharnford), Leicester Road, Coventry Road, Sharnford Road (Sapcote), Hinckley Road & resume normal route at the roundabout over the M69.
Towards Fosse Park: Hinckley Road, Sharnford Road, Coventry Road, Leicester Road, loop around at the one-way system in Sharnford & resume normal route.
The nearest available location to board service LC14 in Sharnford are The Countryman stops on Leicester Road.
