5 ways junction (A50/Blackbird Road/Fosse Road North)

During the first phase of our works to improve the A50 – 5 ways junction, Fosse Road North will be running in a one-way direction inbound to the City Centre between Henley Road and the A50/5 ways Junction. Inbound buses 14/14A are unaffected and the 26/27/29/29A are unimpeded in either direction at this point, but as the works progress, this will change. This phase will be in place until approx. April 2023.

There is a diversion in place for the 14 & 14A on the outbound journeys only as follows – The 14/14A remains on stands HF & HG at Haymarket bus station and diverting out via Savoy Street, St Peters Lane (will stop here), Causeway Lane (will stop here), Vaughan Way, St Nicholas Circle (will stop here), West Bridge (FF) (will stop here), St Augustin Road, King Richards Road, Glenfield Road, Fosse Road North, Henley Road and then as normal onto Petworth Drive Aikaman Avenue and their respected route thereafter.
