Group Walk: A day at Leicester Races on Victoria Park

Starting outside Leicester Museum & Art Gallery, New Walk

Up to 2 hours steady pace.

Join us as we walk the footsteps of former race goers to visit locations associated with the historic Leicester horse races! We head to Victoria Park to walk the former race course and pause for information along the way, to discover the history of this popular social event. This walk is led by a volunteer with an interest in this subject. The walk finishes back Leicester Museum and Art Gallery on New Walk, where toilets are available.

Walks are free to attend, but numbers are limited.
