Welcome to our group walks programme for March 2024.

Sat 2 March at 11am Knighton Park to Old Knighton Village Noticeboard near Knighton Park’s main car park, off Palmerstone Way Medium pace, up to 90 minutes.

Sat 9 March at 11am ‘Ladies of Leicester’ themed walk Richard III statue, St Martins, city centre. Steady pace, up to 90 minutes for walk and info.

Wed 13 March at 11am Humberstone Park to Monks Rest & Old Humberstone (return) The old tram shelter on Uppingham Road, outside Humberstone Park. Medium pace, around 90+ minutes for walk and info.

Sat 16 March at 11.30am Abbey Park to Belgrave Hall (return) Outside the pavilion cafe in Abbey Park Steady pace, up to 90 minutes.

Thur 21 March at 11am ‘Look up on London Road’ themed walk. Town Hall Square, off Horsefair St. Meet near the Bike Park. Steady pace. 75 minutes for walk and info. Plus 30 mins for visit.

Sat 23 March at 11.30am Let’s Get Together Stroll – to the University of Leicester Heritage Hub Event Outside Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, New Walk. Finishing at the University. Steady pace. 45-60 minutes. Plus visit time.  Details on Eventbrite
Thur 28 March at 11am On the Trail of Joseph Merrick in Victorian Leicester Town Hall Square, off Horsefair St. Meet near the Bike Park. Steady pace. Up to 90 minutes for walk and info.

Sat 30 March at 11.30am Braunstone & Western Parks Braunstone Park small car park on Gooding Ave, opposite the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Medium pace. Up to 90 minutes for walk and info.
