Group Walk: Exploring Old Belgrave Saturday 10 October at 11am Starting from Loughborough Road/Bath Street junction green space, opposite The Bull. Bus stop nearby. What3Words location: ///hood.royal.crop Join us for a pleasant history walk from old Belgrave village to Belgrave Cemetery and back, discovering stories of places and people along the way! This is one of our longer walks. Around 2.5 miles. Allow around 2+ hours including information stops for the circular route. Shorter option of 1.8-mile (one-way) if you wish to leave after Belgrave Cemetery. Bus stops nearby at Red Hill Circle for return to city centre (Skylink, Arriva bus no. 127, Centrebus no.22a,b,c). Please note: This is a residential area with limited parking – bus journeys are recommended. There are no public toilets on this route.

Wildlife Walk: A Walk on the Wild Side – Hamilton Park Thursday 15 October at 10am Starting from Sandhills Avenue entrance and car park (opposite Columbine Road). What3Words location: ///curl.ever.mixer 90 minutes – 2 hours with information stops, steady pace. 1.5 miles. Please note: This route may includes some soft and uneven paths in the park so may not be fully accessible. NEW! Group Walk: Gruesome Deaths in Leicester’s West End
Tuesday 27 October at 11am Starting at the junction of Braunstone Gate and Narborough Road.

90+ minutes, steady pace. 2 miles.
A walk through the West End and neighbouring areas discovering those who met untimely ends across the ages, from Roman times to the 20th century. From death in battle through to murder, execution, tragic accident and death by misadventure, a selection of stories will be presented by one of our Walk Volunteers.
Free to attend but booking is required.
