Summary

New Parks to Stokeswood Park

Route Summary: This circular walk takes Fosse Lane with its great views of Leicester and the hills to the east. It returns along the disused railway line in Stokeswood Park in the area of the medieval Freak’s Ground. To access this route on the Ramblers website – click here. 

 

Gilroes Memorial Walk from New Parks

Route Summary: A circular walk to Gilroes Cemetery. The noise of the busy New Parks Way and Groby Road contrasts sharply with the peacefulness of the cemetery.
