Your enhanced bus network

The changes set out in the North West Leicestershire Network Review provide more journey opportunities and increased access to local amenities and attractions.

THREE new FoxConnect zones offering a flexible and bookable bus service for connections to key destinations like Coalville, Ibstock, Measham, Atherstone and Market Bosworth.
Two redesigned bus services with reduced journey times and more direct routes.
A NEW 1 year trial route LC6 connecting Coalville and Hinckley

North West Leicestershire Bus Services

LC6: Coalville – Hinckley

A NEW one-year trial route, operated by Centrebus, connecting Coalville and Hinckley. Free bus pass holders will be able to travel at no cost all day.

LC12: Measham – Witherley

This service has been renumbered from the previous service 7. The route has been redesigned to offer one return journey at a fixed time to serve school and commuter passengers. The service will be operated by Arriva.

LC13: Coalville – Groby – Leicester

Introducing a new service that will provide links to Glenfield Hospital, Brookvale Groby Learning Campus, and colleges in Leicester City. Serving settlements like Ratby, Botcheston, Merry Lees, Thornton and Bagworth.

LC15: Coalville – Leicester

This service has been renumbered from the previous service 125. This route is convenient for Coalville Town Centre, Bradgate Park, Leicester Shopping Centre, Leicester College and offers a link to Leicester Bus and Railway Station for onward travel. The LC15 will be operated by Arriva.

LC16: Loughborough – Shepshed – Ashby

This service is convenient for Loughborough Shopping Centre, Medical Centre, Citizens Advice, Job Centre, and Leisure Complex. This service has been renumbered from the 129 and will be operated by Arriva.

North West Leicestershire FoxConnect

THREE NEW ZONES across North West Leicestershire will be served by an on-demand bus service FoxConnect. This service will operate Monday – Saturday, 06:00 – 19:30, and can be booked via an app or the call centre. It will be FREE to use for the first month, so hop on board!
