Walking and cycling are low cost, easy ways to get more active and improve your health. They are also the most environmentally friendly way to travel around Leicester and Leicestershire, helping to reduce air pollution and congestion.

Cycling Courses

The City Council also runs low-cost adult learn to ride courses. Cycle maintenance courses are also available. Both courses are a great way of building confidence if you haven’t cycled recently.  

 

Santander Cycles Leicester

Santander Cycles Leicester E-Bike

Within Leicester City, you can rent an e-bike for your local journeys. Santander Cycles Leicester features 500 e-bikes at 50 docking stations placed in key locations within the city centre. 

A limited number of vouchers worth £10.00 are available to people living in your area. To claim your voucher, please email travelinfo@aecom.com for more details.

Wheels to work

Interested in hiring an electric bike to help you on your commute to work or study? The Wheels to Work scheme offers the chance to hire a bike at a small cost for up to six months.
