Around 90 minutes, steady pace.

A seasonal tree tour, presented by the Volunteer Tree Wardens.
Finishing on the University of Leicester campus, adjacent to the park. Optional cafe stop afterwards.
Join us for a guided walk through Victoria Park, presented by the volunteer Tree Wardens. This seasonal stroll takes in selected trees and explores the theme of trees in winter. The Tree Wardens will provide interesting snippets of information to enjoy, as you wander around this beautiful green space. Our route will mostly be on firm paths, but to gather beneath the trees it will include some soft (unsurfaced) ground, which may be muddy after rain – please wear appropriate footwear. The walk finishes on the University of Leicester campus, with the option to visit the library cafe. If you do not wish to stay, the volunteers will signpost you back to the start.  This short walk is ideal for new attendees. Free to attend but booking is required.
