The changes connect the two towns, providing coverage to key settlements, with routes being redesigned to provide access to local amenities like health care sites. 

• A NEW 1 year trial route LC6 connecting Coalville and Hinckley 
• LC14 route enhanced to improve coverage around Hinckley

Hinckley and Coalville Bus Services 

LC6: Coalville – Hinckley 

A NEW one-year trial route, operated by Centrebus, connecting Coalville and Hinckley. Free bus pass holders will be able to travel at no cost all day. Download Timetable. 

LC14: Hinckley – Fosse Park 

The LC14 route introduced in June is being enhanced to improve coverage around Hinckley. From Tuesday 26th August, it will serve Hollycroft, Tudor Road, Netherley Road, Barwell Lane, and Leicester Road. Download Timetable. 

LC15: Coalville – Leicester 

Some journeys will run via north Thornton and Bagworth, to continue links between Coalville, Markfield, Groby Road and Leicester. Download Timetable. 

LC15A: Bagworth, Thornton, Merry Lees and Botcheston (Fixed)

The LC15A will cater for scholar and commuter movements to Groby only. This service will be operated by Coalville Cabs. See full details. 

LC15B: Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) 

The LC15B is a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service operated by Coalville Cabs. Residents of Bagworth, Thornton, Merry Lees and Botcheston can book journeys to Groby, Glenfield and Coalville linking with onward travel. This service will be available Monday to Saturday from 6:30am to 7pm. Journeys need to be booked by 5pm the day BEFORE travelling. See full details.
