Dino T-Reks: Choose How You Move’s newest family-friendly competition

Throughout the summer holidays, children and families will be able to spot these lively lizards in the local parks of Leicestershire. Enjoy all the benefits of the park this summer: a pleasant environment, getting exercise, and quality time together.

Plus, by entering our competition you’ll be in with a chance of winning a goody bag of prizes, generously donated by local businesses!

How to use the Dino T-Reks trails

No starting point, no finishing point – you can enjoy the trail however you want to.

1. Go to the Questr dino map and select the park you’re in.
2. Follow the direction of each dinosaur on the map to find a dino marker.

To complete the trail and enter our competition:

1. Bring your trusty dino tracking device (a smartphone).
2. Go to the Questr dino map and create an account. (Read more about how your data will be used in our Fair Processing Notice.)
3. Print off or download the sheet with every dinosaur in the park for easier tracking. (Find on each park mini-page below.)
4. Follow the direction of each dinosaur on the map to find a dino marker. Scan the QR code to log your discovery.
5. Collect all the letters on the dino markers to make a word.
6. Enter the correct word into the Questr page to enter the competition!

Creativity – unleashed!

We enlisted the help of our intrepid explorers in schools across the county to sketch their dinosaurs travelling actively or sustainably for our Dino T-Reks trails. They drew amazing dinosaurs, from a stegosaurus on a scooter, to a brontosaurus on a bike. New species of dinosaurs were discovered on the way!

After schoolchildren submitted their drawings, these prehistoric prowlers have now been unleashed into the (Jurassic) parks of Leicestershire for families to find!
