Ride Leicester Schools’ Ride 2020

The Schools’ Ride is a mass participation bike ride for up to 500 pupils from 12+ schools across Leicester and Leicestershire. This year it will take place on Friday 3rd July 2020 and is the largest ride of its kind in the UK. Schools’ Ride is a unique celebration of Bikeability training, organised by Leicester City, with the support of Leicestershire County Council, British Cycling, Sustrans and Leicestershire Police.

With an array of entertainment, the Schools’ Ride promises to be a great day out for everyone! Entertainment has previously included comedy from the Comedy Club 4 Kids, Leicester City Football Club mascot Filbert Fox and the incredible team from the Extreme Mountain Bike Show. A FREE gallery of images from the event will be made available within 48 hours of the event to share with parents and carers.

In order to participate, your school must have participated in the 2019/20 Bikeability cycle training scheme, and all participating pupils must have passed Bikeability Level 2.

Please register your school’s interest before Friday 3rd April 2020 by emailing us at choosehowyoumove@leicester.gov.uk.
