A Walk on the Wild Side in Aylestone Meadows

Thursday 15 September at 10am

Starting from the Evesham Road entrance to the meadows.

Up to 2 hours, steady pace

A Walk on the Wild Side in Aylestone Meadows is hosted by an experienced wildlife expert who will lead you around the meadows, pausing to talk about the different types of insects, plants and animals found here. In particular, this walk will focus on the river habitat and nature conservation work associated with flood management. This steady-paced walk is a great way to relax while discovering a little about nature in the city.

The meadows include some soft and uneven paths, please wear appropriate footwear. Due to the terrain, unfortunately this is not an accessible walk so is unsuitable for wheelchairs or buggies. Please note, there are no toilet facilities at this location.

Information about the pace of our walks, what to wear/bring, the weather and much more can be found on our City Council Group Walks page.

This short walk is free to attend. For full details about this walk and to book, click ‘Book your space’ below to visit Eventbrite. Booking opens on Sat 20 August at 9am.
